Liana Toscanini, Store Owner, was a marketing executive at Sure Fit for ten years prior to opening the Berkshire Slipcover Outlet in May of 2003.

The store serves as a prototype for potential expansion. Anyone interested in opening such a store should contact her at (413) 258-4904. Toscanini is also a cat owner and slipcover user as well as a volunteer with the Sandisfield Arts Center and Community Access to the Arts in Great Barrington.

Richard Migot, "the husband", has a good eye for color and design, and works as a carpenter/furniture maker/refinisher/painter when not in the store. He built all the store display shelves!

He and Toscanini moved to the Berkshires from New York City in 1997.
